I just tried Howling Monkey Energy Cola today, it's actually pretty good. My brother felt like it tasted a lot like regular cola, but I think it has a different taste to it. It's definitely more similar to Pepsi than Coke, but has a sweeter aftertaste than even Pepsi does. It was a good mid-day buzz to keep me from falling asleep while watching an incredibly boring college hockey game. Check out their website!

Mel Gibson Drinking Game
I realize this article is old but it's for a reason. As bored as I am, and as much as I am looking to do something nobody has ever done before, I am in the middle of creating a Mel Gibson drinking game, in honor of our favorite anti-semitic actor turned director of the same name. I promise it will be a lot of fun. Pinky promise.

Are you kidding me?
So.....Paris Hilton is going to jail. Why is this such a news story besides the fact that it's awakening people to the fact that there really are people in this world who feel like they are above the law. How is one person so irresponsible that they can't even decide for themselves if they have a drivers' license or not. I am glad Judge Sauer took a stand on this, because a lot of judges would have faltered under the pressure that a powerful family like the Hiltons can bring. Honestly, her parents' reactions are absolutely ridiculous as well. What a joke. I'll just hope that her time in jail is actually served. I hope everyone else feels the same way. Well, not everybody does...

Keith Richards.......
Although this story has been the talk of the news, it is still probably the funniest story I have read all year so far. Just the thought alone makes me want to pull out my Sticky Fingers album and relive the days when snorting your father's ashes was ok. Poor Keith, he's just not with the new times I guess.....

Starpulse
I'd like to begin this blog by noting my favorite celebrity gossip site, Starpulse.com. This site gives you all the dirt on what is going on in Hollywood, and pretty much has inside info about every celebrity you can possibly think of, whether it's a musician like Jay-Z or a 21st century diva like Paris Hilton, or even the occasional Sean Penn or Robert Downey Jr. An insightful site for those easily amused like myself. Take a look!

Planet Family Guy
I like unofficial websites in pop culture arenas. More often than not, they are created by die-hard fans who are willing to do things a little differently (usually more creatively) and mix things up a little bit. Planet Family Guy is one of these kinds of sites. It offers news, RSS feeds into a Planet Family Guy blog, and cool pictures and wallpapers, among other things. It is an awesome site for any huge Family Guy fan. Bookmark it and check it out!

Technorati!
Take a look at my new Technorati Profile. It's a pretty cool site and will hopefully increase the traffic that this practically non-existent traffic this site gets. Thanks Technorati, you're the man (if you were human)!
Britney is back?!
Britney might finally be returning, but when? After her wonderfully lip-synced performance last night in San Diego, buzz is flying about when the pop-queen turned laughing stock is going to attempt to make her much needed comeback to the music circuit. This article tells the rest....

I'd say "You have to be kidding me, but you'd say no first"
Paris Hilton's body (which is more popular than everything else about her) is in the news again. This really weird story is aimed towards preventing drunk driving accidents. Don't ask.....for heaven's sake.....don't ask.
Menstealia Continued
Seriously, why doesn't somebody tell Carlos Mencia to stick to lame-ass Bud Light commercials from now on? Unless he's stealing those too......

Cam'ron apologizes
Cam'ron decided to apologize for his ridiculous comments last week on 60 Minutes, where he claimed he would never "snitch" on anyone, even if they lived next door to him. Thanks Cam'ron, we're really glad that you will now be on the constant look-out for those who have committed crimes. This is the same guy who set up a deal to catch sexual predators on camera. Isn't that "snitching"?

Technorati!
Check out my Technorati Profile! Thanks to Technorati, I can actually get some traffic going on my site, and hopefully get some responses from readers around the world, which is all I am really looking for. Thanks a lot, Technorati....you're the man!

Learn something today.....
Have you ever come home from school and your parents ask you what you learned in school today? Mine always have, and usually I say nothing. However, in light of the Yo Momma craze on MTV (ugh), I have decided to give you something to tell your parents tonight. You'll thank me later.

Justin in Wax
Hey chicks, check this out, it's JT in wax! Besides the fact that this wax statue actually looks pretty close to the real thing, the title of the article is hilarious and should be laughed at in a hard fashion. Seriously though, read the article to yourself and see if you laughed as hard as I did.

Please watch Emeril.....just once
Emeril Lagasse is the man! BAM! BAM! His spaghetti sauce is unbelievable because there are like eight cloves of garlic in each bottle. BAM! BAM! Doc Gibbs plays entertaining music during commercial breaks! BAM! BAM! He was recently named number 94 on Forbes Top 100 celebrities! BAM! BAM!

You may have won the battle, but I have won the war!
Yup, this article is no joke. Justin Timberlake has extended the victorious olive branch to Britney thanks to her newfound hobby of rehab-jumping. If this doesn't leave Justin on top for good, I don't know what does. Awesomeness. Good guys don't always finish last....right?
Where have you gone, Dave Chappelle?
Dave Chappelle needs to come back and save Comedy Central from Menstealia. Oh, you don't know what I am talking about? This video should do the trick. What a D-Bag, hopefully we can band together and find some original comedians again someday. Probably not.

Spoiler Fix!
If you are as impatient as I am and are always looking to find out what happens on your favorite show before it happens, then I suggest you check out this site. Spoiler Fix is set up so that you can make a bet with all your friends about what happens on each show, and subsequently take all of their money. Don't tell anyone this was my idea.....seriously.

Britney Zone!
Haha....take a look at BritneyZone.com. This site has absolutely everything (no joke) that you want to know about Britney Spears. It is basically a diary written by somebody who you would think was looking over her shoulder. Incredibly ridiculous and over the top, just like most of America likes it.

Goodbye O.C.
I think the title of this post says it all. Was there a more sad day then the end of my generation's first meaningful teen soap-opera? Personally, I thought the fourth season brought in some fresh ideas and could have carried some momentum into a fifth season....but that is why I simply blog and do not make important decisions. Here's a look at the final episode. R.I.P. O.C.

The Good Shepherd
Just rented and watched The Good Shepherd yesterday, and wanted to share a few thoughts . First, I really like DeNiro as a director, besides an actor. This movie is clever, and is to the point. Damon does a great job as the "choir boy" CIA agent, who is simply fulfilling the oath he swore to when he first decided to take the job. I was honestly very surprised by this movie, especially considering it is a fairly confusing movie, but it could have been much worse in that area. I suggest you rent this for yourself and check it out.

Zodiac
This movie was actually done really well. I enjoyed the soundtrack, which made the movie even creepier than it already was (Hurdy Gurdy Man by Donovan especially). Jake Gyllenhaal did a pretty good job as the obsessed cartoonist who attempts to solve perhaps the country's most twisted serial killer case. Although the movie dragged on a little in the middle, there was more than enough here to warrant my attention. If I was to put a rank on it, I would say a solid 4 out of 5 "stars" or whatever you would like to call them.
